بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
S yisem n LLAH, AMEḤNIN, ARAḤMAN
85:1

1 S igenni bu itran!
1 By (Wa) the sky (Es'Samaai) containing (Thaati) the constellations (El'Buruuj) *, (25:61)
85:2
85:3

3 S unagi akked ccada s!
3 and (Wa) the witness (Shaahidin) and what was witnessed (Mash'huud) .
85:4

4 At uxenduq ţwanɣan.
4 The companions (As'haabu) of the furrow (El'Ukh'duud) were killed (Qutila)
85:5
٥
5 Times m iseṛɣan;
5 by a fire (En'Naari) containing (Thaati) fuel (El'Waquud)
85:6
٦
6 mi nitni qqimen ɣuṛes.
6 while (Ith') they (Hum') were sitting (Qu'uud) around it (Älai'haa) ;
85:7
٧
7 D nitni ay d inagan n lmumnin f wayen i sen xedmen.
7 for (Wa) they (Hum') were witnesses (Shuhuudu) to (Älaa) what (Maa) they were doing (Yaf'äluuna) to (Bi) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) .
85:8

8 Ur illi ay sen stebɛan, siwa imi umnen s Ṛebbi, Uzmir, Amaɛzuz.
8 And (Wa) they (of the furrow) only (Maa illa) resented them (Naqamu Min'hum) because (An) they believed (Yu'minu') in GOD (Billahi); the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the PRAISEWORTHY (El' Hamiid) ,
85:9

9 IneS tagelda n tmurt akked igenwan. Ṛebbi d Anagi n yal cci.
9 the One (Ellazii) to whom belongs (Lahu) the dominion (67:1) (Mul'ku) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di), but (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is witnessing (Shahiid) over (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in) .
85:10

10 Ih, wid ihewwlen lmumnin, argaz tameṭṭut, ur steṛoɛen, ad ţţuɛaqben s Loahennama, ad ţţuɛaqben s tmeṛɣiwt.
10 Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellathiina) tormented (Fatanu') the believing men (El'Mu'miniina) and the believing women (Wal' Mu'minaati) and (Thumma) did not (Lam') repent (Yatuubu'), thus (Fa) they will have (Lahum) the punishment (Äthaabu) of Hell (Jahannama), and (Wa) they will have (Lahum') the punishment (Äthaabu) of the Fire (El'Hariiq) .
85:11

11 Wanag, i wid iumnen, ixeddmen ayen ilhan, leonanat, ddawat sen isaffen ţţazzalen. D wagi ay d rrbeḥ ameqwṛan.
11 Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellathiina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) will have (Lahum) gardens (Jannaatun) beneath which (Min Tah'tiha) rivers (El'Anhaaru) flow (Taj'ri); that (Thaalika) is a magnificent (El'Kabiir) achievement (El'Faw'zu) .
85:12

12 Tiyta n Mass ik, s tideţ, tewɛaṛ.
12 Indeed (Inna), the strike (attack) (Bat'sha) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) is (La) severe (Shadiid) .
85:13

13 Neţţa, s tideţ, Ibeddu, Iţţales.
13 Indeed, it (Innahu) is HE (Huwa) who initiates (Yub'diu) and (Wa) repeats (Yueed) ,
85:14

14 Neţţa, Iţsemmiḥ, Iḥemmel.
14 and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the FORGIVING (El' Gafuuru), the AFFECTIONATE (El' Waduud) ,
85:15

15 Bab n usgeld, Amaɛzuz.
15 Possessor (Thuu) of the Glorious (El'Majiid) Throne (El'Är'shi) ,
85:16

16 Ixeddem ayen i S ihwan.
16 Doer (Fa’äälun) of whatever (Limaa) HE intends (Yuriid) .
85:17

17 Ma tebbweḍ ik id teqsiṭ iɛsekṛiwen
17 Has (Hal') the discourse (Hadiithu) of the soldiers (El'Junuud) reached you (s) (Ataa-ka) ;
85:19

19 Maca, wid ijehlen, deg uskiddeb.
19 In fact (Bali), those who (Ellathiina) disbelieve (Kafaru') are in (Fii) denial (Tak'thiib) ,
85:20

20 Ṛebbi, deffir, Izzi yasen.
20 while (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is consciously (Muhiit) beyond them (Min Waraa'i-him) .
85:21

21 Maca, wagi d Leqwṛan muccaɛ,
21 In fact (Bal'), it (Huwa) is a glorious (Majiid) reading (Qur'aanun)
85:22
٢٢
22 di telwiḥt iţwaḥerzen.
22 in (Fii) a preserved (Mah'fuuz’) tablet (a pad of paper) (Law'hin) .
