بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
S yisem n LLAH, AMEḤNIN, ARAḤMAN
83:1
١
1 Imedɣal, a nnegr nnsen!
1 Woe (Wai'lun) to the misers (Lil' Mutoffifiin) *,
83:2
٢
2 Wid, mara d ktilen ar medden, ţḥeţţimen taceṛt.
2 who (Ellathiina), when (Ithaa) they agglomerate (Ek'taalu') from (Älaa) people (En'Naasi), they take full share (Yas'taw'fuun) ,
83:3
٣
3 Wanag, nitni, mara ktilen neɣ wezznen, ssenqasen.
3 but (Wa) when (Ithaa) they measure for them (p) (Kaaluu-hum’) or (Aw) weigh for them (Wazanuu-hum’), they cause loss (Yukh'siruun) .
83:4

4 Wigi, day ur uminen ar aten id ssekren
4 Do (A-) they (U'laaika) not (-laa) believe (Yazunnu) that they (Annahum) will be resurrected (Mab'uuthuun)
83:5

5 ass ameqwṛaḥan?
5 for (Li) a terrible (Äziim) day (Yaw'min) ,
83:6

6 Ass ideg ara bedden medden, zdat Mass imaḍalen.
6 the day (Yaw'ma) mankind (En'Naasu) will stand (Yaquumu) before (Li) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin) ?
83:7

7 Xaṭi! War ccekk, imcumen, di Siooin ara ţţujerrden.
7 Nay (Kallaa)! Indeed (Inna), the register (record) (Kitaaba) of the immoral (El'Fujjaari) is in (Lafii) shrouding (Sijjiin) .
83:8

8 Siooin, w ara k t imlen?
8 And (Wa) what (Maa) will make you (s) know (Ad'raa-ka) what (Maa) is shrouding (Sijjiin) ?
83:9

9 D tazmamt iţwanesxen.
9 It is a numerical (Mar'quum) register (Kitaabun) . 1
83:10

10 Assen, a nnegr inekkaṛen!
10 Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukathzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maithin) , (77:15)
83:11

11 Wid iskiddiben ass iqeṭṭiyen.
11 who (Ellathiina) are denying (Yukathzibuuna Bi) the Day of Judgement (Yaw'mi-d'Diin) .
83:12

12 I t inekkṛen, siwa amɛaṣi amednub.
12 But (Wa) none (Maa) denies it (Yukathzibu B-ihi) except (illa) every (Kullu) sinful (Athiim) trespasser (Mu'tadin) .
83:13

13 Isekniyen nneƔ, ma ɣṛan as ten, yini: "d tiḥkayin imezwura".
13 When (Ithaa) Our verses (Aayaatu-naa) are recited (Tut'laa) to him (Älai'hi), he says (Qaala), "Tales (Asaatiiru) of the past (El'Awwaliin) ."
83:14

14 Xaṭi! Maca dubben wulawen nnsen seg wayen kesben.
14 Nay (Kallaa)! In fact (Bal'), what (Maa) they have been (Kaanu') earning (Yak'sibuun) has predominated (Raana Älaa) their hearts (Quluubi-him) .
83:15

15 Xaṭi! Assen, war ccekk, ad ḥḥurrmen i Mass nnsen.
15 Nay (Kallaa)! Indeed, they (Innahum) will be (La) partitioned (Mah'juubuun) from (Än) their LORD (Rabbi-him), on that day (Yaw'maithin) . (57:13)
83:16

16 Sinna, deg uɣud ara ṛɣen.
16 For (Thumma) indeed, they (Innahum) will (La) burn (Soalu') in Hell (El'Jahiim) .
83:17

17 Sinna, ad ţwanecden: "atan wacu tnekkṛem".
17 And (Thumma) they will be told (Yuqaalu), "This (Haatha) is what (Ellazii) you used to (Kuntum) deny (Tukathzibuun Bi-hi) ."
83:18

18 Xaṭi! S tideţ, ar di Ɛiliyun, ayen iţţujerden i iɛaṛḍiyen.
18 Nay (Kallaa)! Indeed (Inna), the register (record) (Kitaaba) of the pious (El'Ab'raari) is in (Lafii) loftiness (Elliyyiin) .
83:19

19 Ɛiliyun, anwa ara k t imlen?
19 And (Wa) what (Maa) will make you (s) know (Ad'raa-ka) what (Maa) is loftiness (Elliyyuun) ?

20 D tazmamt iţwanesxen.
20 It is a numerical (Mar'quum) register (Kitaabun) . 2

21 Inagan is d iqṛiben.
21 Those nearby (El'Muqarrabuun) will witness it (Yash'hadu-hu) .
83:22

22 Di ssaɛd ara ilin, war ccekk, iɛaṛḍiyen!
22 Indeed (Inna), the pious (El'Ab'raara) will be in (Lafii) bliss (Naeem) , (82:13)

23 F imṭeṛḥen, ssikiden.
23 observing (Yanzuruun) on (Älaa) couches (El'Araa'iki) .
83:24
٢٤
24 A ţwaliḍ deg udmawen nnsen, ticci isaɛdiyen.
24 You will recognize (Ta'rifu) the splendour (Nad'rata) of Bliss (En'Naeem) in (Fii) their faces (Wujuuhi-him') .
83:25

25 Tissit nnsen d lfayeq iţwacemɛen;
25 They will be given to drink (Yas'qaw'na) from (Min) sealed (Makh'tuum) nectar (Rahiiqin) ,
83:26
٢٦ ۚ
26 cmaɛ ines d lmesk, f ayagi ad mḥizwiren wid iţţemḥizwiren.
26 whose conclusion (Khitaamu-hu) is of musk (Mis'kun); and (Wa) so let (Fal') the competitors (El'Mutanaafisuun) compete (Yatanaafasi) for (Fii) that (Thaalika) .
83:27

27 Aman n Tasmin, ad as xelṭen.
27 And (Wa) its mixture (Mizaaju-hu) is of (Min) fragrance (perfume) (Tas'niim) ;
83:28

28 D tala ideg tessen iqṛiben.
28 as a spring (Äi'nan) from which (Bihaa) those nearby (El'Muqarrabuun) will drink (Yash'rabu) .
83:29

29 Ih, wid ibeɣwḍen llan ţţaḍṣan deg wid iumnen.
29 Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellathiina) acted wrong (Aj'ramu') used to (Kaanu’) laugh at (Yad'hakuun Min) those who (Ellathiina) believed (Aamanu') .
83:30

30 Ţţemɣemmazen mara ten mmagren.
30 And (Wa) whenever (Ithaa) they (the wrongful) passed by them (Marru' Bihim'), they would wink at each other (Yatagaamazuun) .
83:31

31 Mi zzin ar twaculin nnsen, tezzin, ţţuraren.
31 And (Wa) whenever (Ithaa) they turned (Enqalabuu') to (ilaa) their people (Ah'li-himu), they would return (Enqalabu') teasing (Fakihiin) .
83:32

32 Mara ten walin, ad inin: "s tideţ, wigi nnetlafen".
32 And (Wa) whenever (Ithaa) they saw them (the believers) (Ra'aw'hum'), they would say (Qaaluu'), "Indeed (Inna), these people (Haaulaai) are (La) lost (Doalluun) ,
83:33

33 Ur d ţwaznen ara ɣuṛsen, a ten ɛassen!
33 for (Wa) there are no (Maa) guardians (13:11) (Haafiziin) sent (Ur'silu') over them (Älai'him') ."
83:34

34 Assa, d wid iumnen i iţţaḍṣan deg ijehliyen.
34 So (Fa) today (El'Yaw'ma), those who (Ellathiina) believed (Aamanu') are laughing at (Yad'hakuun Mina) the disbelievers (El'Kuffaari) ,
83:35

35 Ɣef imṭeṛḥen, ssikiden
35 observing (Yanzuruun) on (Älaa) couches (El'Araa'iki) .
