S yisem n LLAH, AMEḤNIN, ARAḤMAN
80:1

1 Ikres anyir, ibren,
1 He frowned (Äbasa) * and (Wa) turned away (Tawalla) ,
80:2

2 imi d aderɣal it id iusan.
2 because (An) a blind man (El'A'maa) came to him (Jaa'a-hu) .

3 W ar ak yinin, ahat d azedgan?
3 “But (Wa) what (Maa) will make you (s) know (Yud'rii-ka) perhaps he (the blind) (Laällahu) might purify (Yazzakka) ,

4 Neɣ ismektay, asmekti isfayda t?
4 or (Aw') could be reminded (Yathzakkaru) and (Fa) the Remembrance (Eth'Zik'ra) would benefit him (Tanfaä-hu) ?” (51:55)

5 As for (Ammaa) one who (Mani) gave up (Es'tag'naa) ;

6 thus (Fa) you (s) confronted him (Tasoddaa La-hu) .

7 And (Wa) what (Maa) is upon you (s) (Älai'ka) if he will not (Alla) purify (Yazzakka) ?

8 Ma d amsuter id iusan,
8 But (Wa) as for (Ammaa) one who (Man) came to you (s) (Jaa'a-ka) striving (Yas'ää)

9 while (Wa) he (Huwa) feared (Yakh'sha) ;

10 thus (Fa) you (s) (Anta) were heedless (Talahha) of him (Än'hu) .

11 Xaṭi! Ihi wagi d asmekti.
11 Nay (Kallaa)! Indeed, it (Innahaa) is a reminder (Tath'kirat') ;

12 so (Fa) whoever (Man) wills (Shaa'a) should remember it (Thakara-hu)

14 elevated (Mar'fuuätin) and purified (Mutohhara') ,

15 inscribed (Safarat') by (Bi) the hands (Ai'dii) ,

16 leḥṛaṛ, izedganen.
16 dignified (Kiraami) and justified (Bararat') .

17 Tameţţant i umdan! Ay d ajehli!
17 The human being (El' Insaanu) opposes (Qutila) what (Maa) accuses him of infidelity (Ak'fara-hu) .

18 From (Min') what (Ayyi) at all (Shai'in) did HE (God) create him (Khalaqa-hu) ?

19 Si tiqqit, Ixelq it, Iwezn it.
19 HE created him (Khalaqa-hu) from (Min) sperm (Nut'fatin) and (Fa) predestined him (Qaddara-hu) ;

20 Sinna, abrid Isehhel as t.
20 then (Thumma) HE made the way (Es'Sabiila) easy for him (-Yassara-hu) ;

21 Sinna, Inɣa t, Inṭel it.
21 then (Thumma) HE causes his death (Amaata-hu) and (Fa) buries him (Aq'bara-hu) ;

22 Sinna, ma ihwa yaS, a t id Isker.
22 then (Thumma) when (Ithaa) HE wills (Shaa'a), HE will resurrect him (Anshara-hu) .

23 Xaṭi! Ur iuqim ayen i s Iḥeţţem.
23 Nay (Kallaa)! He (the human) has not yet (Lammaa) accomplished (Yaq'di) what (Maa) HE commanded him (98:5) (Amara-hu) .

24 Ad iwali tagwella s, umdan.
24 So let (Fal') the human being (El' Insaanu) examine (Yanzuri ilaa) his food (Toäämi-hi) ;

25 D Nekwni id Ifkan aman, d ihedman.
25 how (Annaa) We pour (Sobab'naa) water (El'Maa'a), by pouring (Sobbaa)

26 Sinna, Neɣza tamurt, d iɣisan.
26 then (Thumma) We split (Shaqaq'naa) the ground (El'Ar'do), by cracking (Shaqqaa)

27 Nessuffeɣ ed, segs, iɛaqqayen,
27 then (Fa) We germinate (Anbat'naa) seed (grain) (Habbaa) therein (Fiihaa)

28 tiẓuṛin, akked wayen zegzawen,
28 as (Wa) grapes (Enaban) and (Wa) herbs (Qad'baa)

29 tizemrin, tizdayin,
29 as well as (Wa) olives (Zai'tuunan) and (Wa) date palms (Nakh'laa)

30 iqwiṛen iḍeṛsen,
30 and (Wa) subdued (Gul'baa) gardens (Hadaa-iqa)

31 tikessawin akked izwayen.
31 as well as (Wa) fruit (Faakihatan) and (Wa) grass (Abbaa) ,

32 D lɣit i kunwi, akked lmal nnwen.
32 as enjoyment (Mataaän) for you (p) (Lakum') and (Wa) for (Li) your livestock (An'äämi-kum’) .

33 Ma tusa d tin iţţiẓẓifen,
33 But (Fa) when (Izaa) the black out (Es'Soakkha') comes (Jaa'ati) ;

34 the day (Yaw'ma) a man (El'Mar'u) will flee (Yafirru) from (Min') his brother 1 (Akhii-hi)

35 and (Wa) his mother 2 (Ummi-hi) and (Wa) his father 3 (Abii-hi)

36 i tmeddakwelt is, akked warraw is;
36 as well as (Wa) his female companion 4 (Soahibati-hi) and (Wa) his children 5 (Banii-hi) .

37 yal amdan segsen, assen, a d ilhu deg wayen i t iaɛnan.
37 On that day (Yaw'mai'thin), for (Li) each (Kulli) person (Em'ri'in) among them (Min'hum') will be a matter (Sha'nun) adequate for him (Yug'nii-hi) . (31:33)

38 On that day (Yaw'maithin), some faces (Wujuuhu) will be shining (Mus'fira') ,

39 laughing (Doahikatun) and rejoicing (Mus'tab'shira') .

40 Assen, udmawen aɣwebbaṛ fellasen.
40 On that day (Yaw'maithin), other faces (Wujuuhun) will have dust (Gabara') on them (Älai'haa) ;

41 darkness (Qatara') will overcome them (Tar'haqu-haa) .

42 Widak d ijehliyen, d ucmiten.
42 Those (U'laaika) are (Humu) the disbelievers (El'Kafaratu) and the immoral (El'Fajara') .
