If (In) you have (Kuntum) gone out (Kharaj'tum) to strive (Jihaadan) in (Fii) MY way (Sabiilii) and seeking (Eb'tigaa'a) MY approval (Mar'doatii), would you confide in them (Tusirruuna ilai'him) with friendship (Bil' Mawaddati)? But (Wa) I am (Anaa') aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) you have concealed (Akh'fai'tum) and what (Wamaa) you have declared (A'lantum). And (Wa) whoever (Man) does it (Yaf'äl'hu) among you (Minkum), then (Fa) he has (Qad’) strayed (Dolla) from the straight (Sawaa'a) way (Es'Sabiil) .
