S yisem n LLAH, AMEḤNIN, ARAḤMAN
69:1

1 Tin imuḥeţţmen.
1 The disaster (El'Haaqqatu) *!
69:2

2 D acu ay d tin imuḥeţţmen?
2 What (Maa) is the disaster (El'Haaqqa’) ?
69:3

3 W ar ak imlen d acu ţ, tin imuḥeţţmen?
3 And (Wa) what (Maa) will make you (s) know (Ad'raa-ka) what (Maa) is the disaster (El'Haaqqa') ?
69:4

5 Tamud ţwanɣan s termegt.
5 And (Fa) as for (Amma) Thamud (Thamuudu), they were then (Fa) destroyed (Uh'liku') in (Bi) transgression (Ettoagiya') .
69:6

6 Ɛad ţwanɣan s uṣeṛṣaṛ aqesḥan.
6 And (Wa) as for (Amma) Ad (Åådun), they were then (Fa) destroyed (Uh'liku') by (Bi) a violent (Ååtiya') squeaking (Sor'sorin) wind (Riihin)
69:7

7 Iḥeţţem it, fellasen, ṣa waḍan, ṭam wussan, d imezgi. A ţwaliḍ din imdanen seṛɛan, am izeɣwṛan n tezdayt iruzen.
7 which was subjected (Sakkhara-haa) to them (Älai'him) seven (Sab'ä) nights (Layaalin) and (Wa) eight (Thamaaniyata) days (Ayyaamin) in termination (Husuuman). And (Fa) you could see (Taraa) the people (El'Qaw'ma) knocked down (Sor'ää) therein (Fiiha), as if they (Ka'anna-hum) were inefficient (A'jaazu) date palms (Nakh'lin) in desolation (Khaawiya') .
69:8

8 Twalaḍ ma illa wacu d igwran segsen?
8 So (Fa) do (Hal') you see (Taraa) any (Min) remains (Baaqiya') of them (Lahum) ?
69:9

9 Iusa d Ferɛun akked wid i t id izwaren, akked tid iţţin, s lfalṭat.
9 And (Wa) there came (Jaa'a) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu) and (Wa) those (Man) before him (Qab'lahu) and (Wa) the homophiles (53:53) (El'Mu'tafikaatu) at fault (Bil' Khaatia') .
69:10

10 Ɛuṣan amazan n Mass nnsen. Issemḥalleq asen s lqewwa.
10 Consequently (Fa) they disobeyed (Äsow') the messenger (Rasuula) of their LORD (Rabbi-him), so (Fa) HE (God) seized them (Akhatha-hum’) with a mighty (Raabiya') seizure (Akh'zatan) .
69:11

11 Ih, aman asmi ccewcwen, Nebbwi kwen di lbabur,
11 Indeed (Innaa), when (Lamma) the water (El'Maau) overflowed (Togaa), We transported you (p) (Hamal'naa-kum) in (Fii) the sailing ship (El'Jaariya')
69:12

12 iwakken ad awen t Nerr d asmekti, ad as ccfun imeẓẓuɣen isellen.
12 so that (Li) We might make it (Naj'äla-ha) a reminder (Tath'kiratan) for you (Lakum) and (Wa) the ear (Uthunun) of consciousness (Waaeya') would be conscious of it (Taeya-haa) .
69:13

13 Ma ṣuḍen di lbuq, aṣuḍu yiwen:
13 Then (Fa) when (Izaa) the horn (Es'Suuri) is blown (Nufikha Fii) with a single (Waahida') blow (Naf'khatun)
69:14

14 idurar akked swaḥel ad ţwarefden, yiwet n tiṛẓi ara ten iṛẓen.
14 and (Wa) the earth (El'Ar'du) and the mountains (Wal' Jibaalu) are carried (Humilati) and (Fa) levelled (Dukkata) with a single (Waahida') crush (Dakkatan) ;
69:15

15 Ass nni, a ţţeḍṛu tedyant.
15 Then (Fa) on that day (Yaw'maizin), the incident (El'Waaqiä') will take place (Waqaäti) ,
69:16

16 Ad iceqqeq igenni, ad icerreg, assen.
16 and (Wa) the heaven (Es'Samaau) will split off (Enshaqqati), for (Fa) on that day (Yaw'maithin), it (Hiya) will be fragile (Waahiya') .
69:17
١٧ ۚ
17 Lmalayek, di leriaf is. Assen, di ṭam ad refdent, sennig sent, asgeld n Mass ik.
17 And (Wa) the Angels (El'Malaku) will be on (Älaa) its zones (Ar'jaai-haa), and eight (Thamaaniya') will carry (Yah'milu) the Throne (25:59) (Är'sha) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) above them (Faw'qa-hum’), on that day (Yaw'maithin) .
69:18

18 A ţţeţufesren, assen; iccer ur iteffer segwen.
18 On that day (Yaw'maithin), you will be reviewed (Tu'raduuna); no (Laa) secret (Khaafiya') of you (p) (Minkum) will be hidden (Takh'faa) .
69:19

19 Wanag win iwumi fkan tazmamt is, yeffus is, a d yini: "atan, eɣṛet adlis iw;
19 And (Fa) as for (Amma) one whose (Man’) record (Kitaaba-hu) is given (Uutiya) to (Bi) his right hand (Yamiini-hi), he will then (Fa) say (Yaquulu), "Here (Haaumu), read (Eq'rau') my record (Kitaabiya') !
69:20

20 ḥsiɣ, nek, ad afeɣ iyi twaḥesben".
20 "Indeed, I (Innii) presumed (Zonantu) that I (Annii) will encounter (Mulaaqin) my account (Hisaabiya') ."
69:21

21 Dɣa ad yili di tudert igerzen,
21 So (Fa) he (Huwa) will be in (Fii) a pleasant (Raadiya') life (Eeshatin)
69:22

22 di leonan aɛlayen.
22 in (Fii) an elevated (Ääliya') garden (Jannatin) ,
69:23

23 Izwayen is, iwɛa yasen.
23 whose bunches (Qutuufu-haa) are near (Daaniya') ,
69:24

24 Ččet, teswem di lehna, ilmend n wayen tweqmem, ussan iɛaddan!
24 “Eat (Kulu') and (Wa) drink (Esh'rabu') pleasantly (Haniia) for what (Bimaa) you have already done (As'laf'tum') in (Fii) the days (El'Ayyaami) of the past (El'Khaaliya') .”

25 Wanag win iwumi fkan tazmamt is, zelmeḍ is, a d yini: "a ssexḍ iw, awufan adlis iw ur d iusi!
25 And (Wa) as for (Amma) one who (Man') is given (Uutiya) his record (Kitaaba-hu) to (Bi) his left hand (Shimaali-hi), he will then (Fa) say (Yaquulu), "O (Yaa) if only I (Wai'tanii) had not (Lam') been given (Uuta) my record (Kitaabiya')
69:26

26 Iqeṭṭiyen iw, ur ẓṛiɣ anwi.
26 and (Wa) had not (Lam') known (Ad'ri) what (Maa) was my account (Hisaabiya') .
69:27

27 Awufan tameţţant dayenni.
27 "O (Yaa) if only it (Lai'ta-haa) had been (Kaanati) decisive (El'Qaadiya') .
69:28

28 Ayla w, ula iyi d ibbwi.
28 "My wealth (Maaliya') has not (Maa) availed me (Ag'naa Ännii) .
69:29

29 Adabu w, iţwakkes iyi".
29 "My authority (Sul'toaniya') has been taken away from me (Halaka Ännii) ."
69:30

30 "Ṭṭfet eţ, tarzem t.
30 (It will be said) “Seize him (Khuthuu-hu) and (Fa) shackle him (Gulluu-hu) ,
69:31

31 Dɣa ar wuɣud, terrem t.
31 and then (Thumma) burn him (Solluu-hu) in Hell (El'Jahiima) ,
69:32
٣٢
32 Dɣa s slesla n ṣaḍet iɣalen, teqqnem t"!
32 consequently (Thumma) in (Fii) a chain (Sil'silatin) whose measure (Thar'u-haa) is seventy (Sab'uuna) arms (Thiraa'än), so (Fa) put him in (Es'lukuu-hu) .”
69:33

33 Ih, illa ur iumin ara s Ṛebbi Ameqwṛaḥan.
33 Indeed, he (Innahu) did (Kaana) not (Laa) believe (Yu'minu) in GOD (Billahi), the GREAT (El' Äziim) ,
69:34

34 Ur iţnabi ar ucečči uẓawali.
34 nor (Walaa) did he urge on (Yahuddu Älaa) feeding (To'äämi) of the poor (El'Mis'kiin) . (107:3)
69:35

35 Dagi, ur as illi, assa, uḥbib,
35 So (Fa) he does not have (Lai'sa Lahu) a close friend (Hamiim) here (Haahunaa) today (El'Yaw'ma)
69:36

36 neɣ učči siwa iṛesḍan.
36 nor (Walaa) food (To'äämun) except (illa) of (Min') swill (Gis'liin) ;
69:37

37 Teţţen ten kan imednuben.
37 none (Laa) will eat it (Ya'kulu-hu) except (illa) those at fault (El'Khaatiuun) .
69:38

38 Ihi, ad Galleɣ s wayen teţwalim,
38 So (Fa) I swear (Laa' Uq'simu) by what (Bimaa) you see (Tub'siruun)
69:39

39 akked wayen ur teţwalim,
39 and (Wa) what (Maa) you do not (Laa) see (Tub'siruun) .
69:40

40 ar wagi, s tideţ, d awal Umazan ukyis.
40 Indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) the word (Qaw'lu) of an honourable (Kariim) messenger (81:19) (Rasuulin) .
69:41

41 Ur illi d awal umedyaz; drus kan ay tumnem.
41 And (Wa) it (Huwa) is not (Maa Bi) the word (Qaw'li) of a poet (52:30) (Shaaerin); rarely (Qaliilan Maa) do you believe (Tu'minuun) .
69:42

42 Ur illi d awal ugezzan; drus ay d teţmektayem.
42 Nor (Walaa Bi) the word (Qaw'li) of a prognosticator (52:29) (Kaahinin); rarely (Qaliilan Maa) do you take heed (Tathakkaruun) .
69:43
٤٣
43 D tarusi sɣuṛ Mass imaḍalen.
43 A revelation (Tanziilun) from (Min) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin) . (56:80)
69:44

44 Lemmer a d iskiddeb fellaƔ deg wawalen,
44 And (Wa) if (Law') he (Mohammed) had fabricated (Taqawwala) some (Ba'do) of the sayings (El'Aqaawiil) about Us (Älai'naa) , (17:73)

45 seg uyeffus ar at Neddem;
45 We would have (La) seized him (-Akhaz'naa Min'hu) by (Bi) the right hand (El'Yamiin) ;
69:46

46 dɣa, aẓaṛ n wul is, ad as Negzem.
46 then (Thumma) We would have (La) cut (Qato'naa) the aorta (El'Watiin) from him (Min'hu) ,
69:47

47 Ur iţţili degwen w ara t ifukken.
47 and (Fa) no (Maa Min') one (Ahadin) among you (p) (Minkum) could have prevented (Haajiziin) for him (Än'hu) .
69:48

48 Neţţa, ih, ar d asmekti i wid iţḥezziben.
48 And (Wa) indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) a reminder (73:19) (Taz'kiratun) for the pious (Lil' Muttaqiin) .
69:49

49 Neẓṛa, s tideţ, ar llan garawen inekkaṛen.
49 For (Wa) indeed (Innaa), We know (Na'lamu) that (Anna) there are (La) deniers (Mukathzibiin) among you (Minkum) .
69:50

50 Neţţa, ih, d tawaɣit ijehliyen.
50 But (Wa) indeed, it (Innahu) will be (La) a heartbreak (Has'ratun) for (Älaa) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriin) .
69:51

51 Neţţa, ih, d tideţ itebbten
51 And (Wa) indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) the truth (Haqqu) of certainty (El'Yaqiin) . (56:95-96)

52 Sbuccaɛ isem n Mass ik Ameqwṛaḥan!
52 So (Fa) glorify (Sabbih') with (Bi) the name (Es'mi) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka), the GREAT (El' Äziim) .
