1 Por (Wa) el cielo (Es'Samaai) que contiene (Thaati) las constelaciones (El'Buruuj)
¡Por el cielo con sus constelaciones!
1 By (Wa) the sky (Es'Samaai) containing (Thaati) the constellations (El'Buruuj) *, (25:61)
85:2

2 y (Wa) el prometido (El'Maw'uud) día (El'Yaw'mi)
¡Por el día con que se ha amenazado!
2 and (Wa) the promised (El'Maw'uud) day (El'Yaw'mi) , (78:17)
85:3

3 y (Wa) el testigo (Shaahidin) y lo atestiguado (Mash'huud)
¡Por el testigo y lo atestiguado!
3 and (Wa) the witness (Shaahidin) and what was witnessed (Mash'huud) .
85:4

4 Los compañeros (As'haabu) del foso (El'Ukh'duud) fueron muertos (Qutila)
¡Malditos sean los hombres del Foso,
4 The companions (As'haabu) of the furrow (El'Ukh'duud) were killed (Qutila)

5 con un fuego (En'Naari) que contiene (Thaati) combustible (El'Waquud)
del fuego bien alimentado,
5 by a fire (En'Naari) containing (Thaati) fuel (El'Waquud)

6 mientras (Ith') ellos (Hum') estaban sentados (Qu'uud) en torno a él (Älai'haa)
sentados a él,
6 while (Ith') they (Hum') were sitting (Qu'uud) around it (Älai'haa) ;
85:7

7 pues (Wa) ellos (Hum') eran testigos (Shuhuudu) de (Älaa) lo que (Maa) hacían (Yaf'äluuna) a (Bi) los creyentes (El'Mu'miniina)
dando testimonio de lo que ellos han hecho a los creyentes,
7 for (Wa) they (Hum') were witnesses (Shuhuudu) to (Älaa) what (Maa) they were doing (Yaf'äluuna) to (Bi) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) .
85:8

8 Y (Wa) solo (of the furrow) (Maa illa) les guardaron rencor (Naqamu Min'hum) porque (An) creían (Yu'minu') en DIOS; (Billahi) el TODOPODEROSO, (El' Äziizi) el DIGNO DE ALABANZA (El' Hamiid)
resentidos con ellos sólo porque creyeron en Alá, el Poderoso, el Digno de Alabanza,
8 And (Wa) they (of the furrow) only (Maa illa) resented them (Naqamu Min'hum) because (An) they believed (Yu'minu') in GOD (Billahi); the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the PRAISEWORTHY (El' Hamiid) ,
85:9
٩ ۚ
9 Aquel (Ellazii) a quien pertenece (Lahu) el dominio (67:1) (Mul'ku) de los cielos (Es'Samaawaati) y de la tierra, (Wal' Ar'di) y (Wa) DIOS (Ellahu) es testigo (Shahiid) sobre (Älaa) todas (Kulli) las cosas (Shai'in)
a Quien pertenece el dominio de los cielos y de la tierra. Alá es testigo de todo.
9 the One (Ellazii) to whom belongs (Lahu) the dominion (67:1) (Mul'ku) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di), but (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is witnessing (Shahiid) over (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in) .
85:10

10 Ciertamente, (Inna) los que (Ellathiina) atormentaron (Fatanu') a los hombres creyentes (El'Mu'miniina) y a las mujeres creyentes (Wal' Mu'minaati) y (Thumma) no (Lam') se arrepintieron, (Yatuubu') así (Fa) tendrán (Lahum) el castigo (Äthaabu) del Infierno, (Jahannama) y (Wa) tendrán (Lahum') el castigo (Äthaabu) del Fuego (El'Hariiq)
Quienes sometan a los creyentes y a las creyentes a una prueba y no se arrepientan luego, tendrán el castigo de la gehena, el castigo de su fuego.
10 Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellathiina) tormented (Fatanu') the believing men (El'Mu'miniina) and the believing women (Wal' Mu'minaati) and (Thumma) did not (Lam') repent (Yatuubu'), thus (Fa) they will have (Lahum) the punishment (Äthaabu) of Hell (Jahannama), and (Wa) they will have (Lahum') the punishment (Äthaabu) of the Fire (El'Hariiq) .
85:11

11 Ciertamente, (Inna) los que (Ellathiina) creen (Aamanu') y (Wa) hacen (Ämilu') buenas obras (Es'Soalihaati) tendrán (Lahum) jardines (Jannaatun) bajo los cuales (Min Tah'tiha) ríos (El'Anhaaru) fluyen; (Taj'ri) ese (Thaalika) es un magnífico (El'Kabiir) logro (El'Faw'zu)
Quienes, en cambio, hayan creído y obrado bien tendrán jardines por cuyos bajos fluyen arroyos. ¡Ese es el gran éxito!
11 Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellathiina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) will have (Lahum) gardens (Jannaatun) beneath which (Min Tah'tiha) rivers (El'Anhaaru) flow (Taj'ri); that (Thaalika) is a magnificent (El'Kabiir) achievement (El'Faw'zu) .
85:12

12 Ciertamente, (Inna) el golpe (attack) (Bat'sha) de tu SEÑOR (Rabbi-ka) es (La) severo (Shadiid)
¡Sí, es duro el rigor de tu Señor!
12 Indeed (Inna), the strike (attack) (Bat'sha) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) is (La) severe (Shadiid) .
85:13

13 Ciertamente, (Innahu) es ÉL (Huwa) quien inicia (Yub'diu) y (Wa) repite (Yueed)
Él crea y re-crea.
13 Indeed, it (Innahu) is HE (Huwa) who initiates (Yub'diu) and (Wa) repeats (Yueed) ,
85:14

14 y (Wa) ÉL (Huwa) es el PERDONADOR, (El' Gafuuru) el AFECTUOSO (El' Waduud)
Él es el Indulgente, el Lleno de Amor,
14 and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the FORGIVING (El' Gafuuru), the AFFECTIONATE (El' Waduud) ,

el Señor del Trono, el Glorioso,
15 Possessor (Thuu) of the Glorious (El'Majiid) Throne (El'Är'shi) ,

16 Hacedor (Fa’äälun) de cuanto (Limaa) ÉL quiere (Yuriid)
Que siempre hace lo que quiere.
16 Doer (Fa’äälun) of whatever (Limaa) HE intends (Yuriid) .

17 Acaso (Hal') el relato (Hadiithu) de los ejércitos (El'Junuud) te ha llegado (s) (Ataa-ka)
¿Te has enterado de la historia de los ejércitos,
17 Has (Hal') the discourse (Hadiithu) of the soldiers (El'Junuud) reached you (s) (Ataa-ka) ;

19 Más bien, (Bali) los que (Ellathiina) no creen (Kafaru') están en (Fii) la negación (Tak'thiib)
Los infieles, no obstante, persisten en desmentir,

pero Alá les tiene a Su merced.

21 Más bien, (Bal') esto (Huwa) es una gloriosa (Majiid) lectura (Qur'aanun)
¡Sí es un Corán glorioso,
21 In fact (Bal'), it (Huwa) is a glorious (Majiid) reading (Qur'aanun)

22 en (Fii) una preservada (Mah'fuuz’) tabla (a pad of paper) (Law'hin)
en una Tabla bien guardada!
22 in (Fii) a preserved (Mah'fuuz’) tablet (a pad of paper) (Law'hin) .
