Al-Baqarah
البقرةThe Cow2:44
٤٤ أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
a-taʾmurūna n-nāsa bi-l-birri wa-tansawna anfusakum wa-antum tatlūna l-kitāb, a-fa-lā taʿqilūn
44 Do you command the people to righteousness and forget yourselves, while you recite the Book? Will you not reason?
2:45

45
wa-staʿīnū bi-ṣ-ṣabri wa-ṣ-ṣalāh, wa-innahā la-kabīratun illā ʿalā l-khāshiʿīn
45 And seek help through patience and the prayer, and it is hard except for the humble.
2:46
٤٦ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَاقُو رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
alladhīna yaẓunnūna annahum mulāqū rabbihim wa-annahum ilayhi rājiʿūn
46 Those who think that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they are returning.
2:47
٤٧ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
yā banī isrāʾīla dhkurū niʿmatiya llatī anʿamtu ʿalaykum wa-annī faḍḍaltukum ʿalā l-ʿālamīn
47 O Children of Israel, remember My favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you over the worlds.
2:61
٦١ اهْبِطُوا مِصْرًا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ …
ihbiṭū miṣran fa-inna lakum mā saʾaltum
61 Go down to مِصْرًا, and you will have what you asked for.
2:125
١٢٥ وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا …
wa-idh jaʿalnā l-bayta mathābatan li-n-nāsi wa-amnā
125 And when We made the House a place of return for the people and a security.
2:158
١٥٨ إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ …
inna ṣ-ṣafā wa-l-marwata min shaʿāʾiri llāh
158 Al-Safa and al-Marwah are among the signs of God.
